Silver Gloves Champions

SILVER GLOVES CHAMPIONS - Rayne boxers of the Frog Capital Boxing Club who captured championships in their weight class during the 2012 Louisiana State Silver Gloves Tournament held last week in Lafayette are, kneeling from left, Brock Ordogne (65 lbs. champion), Alyzha Martin (90 lbs. champion), Carlton Jones (147 lbs. champion); top row, Sean Ordogne (100 lbs. champion), Marcus Miller (100 lbs. runner-up), Coach Mason Menard, and Madison Navarre (55 lbs. female champion). As announced by Coach Cory Lantuer, the boxers will now travel to Little Rock, Ark. for the Silver Gloves Regional Tournament the first week in January, with champions advancing to the Natonal Championships on Jan. 10-12 in Kansas City, MO. Donations are welcomed to help with upcoming boxing events and trips where the boxers will represent the City of Rayne.
