Rev. Larry Maxwell, pastor of Kaplan United Methodist Church, will officiate for the services. Visiting hours were held Saturday from 1 p.m. to service time at Kaplan United Methodist Church. “Jerry” chose to have his body donated to LSU Medical School.
“Jerry” is survived by his wife, Vivian Desormeaux Dailey of Kaplan; one stepdaughter, Alaina Gould of Bremerton, Wash.; two stepsons, Charles Montgomery IV of Mire and William Montgomery of Lafayette; two sisters, Wanda D. Arender and her husband Frank of Brandon, Miss. and Judy D. Borill and her husband Bryan of Crowley; one brother, John Dailey of Vicksburg, Miss.; five step-grandchildren, Addison Gould, C. J. Montgomery V and Tyler Montgomery and Sophia and Emma Broussard; his golfing buddies and nephews, Stuart Dailey of Monroe, Josh Borill and Jake Borill, both of Lafayette, John Dailey, Keith Dailey, Robert and Frank Arender; his godchild, Drake Dailey.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L D and Dorothy K. Dailey; two brothers, Ron and Robert Dailey.
