A memorial service will be Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel in Rayne for Gervis Cary, 78 of Rayne who passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 at his home in Rayne.  Fr. Bill will be officiating the services on Wednesday.

Survivors include his wife, Diana F. Cary of Rayne; three daughters, Danielle and husband Kenneth Comeaux of Lafayette; Bonnie and husband, Joey Faucheux of Rayne and Leslie and husband Chad Abshire of Rayne; two sons, Garet and wife Sara Cary of Rayne and Zachary and wife Nicole Cary of Rayne;  ten grandchildren, Spencer Comeaux; Perry Faucheux; Jeron, Grant and Katie Abshire; Garet Paul and Baylee Cary; and Jessi, Hayden and Chase Cary; three brothers, J.C. Cary, J. U. Cary and Murray Cary all of Church Point; two sisters, Virgie Courville of Church Point and Nelma Daigle of Plaquemine;

Mr. Gervis is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Edna Cary; one brother, Wilbert Cary.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at 4:00 pm till 10:00 pm then 8:00 am till time of services on Wednesday.  A Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00 in the evening in the funeral home chapel in Rayne.  Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Rayne will be in charge of the arrangements.  Please send personal condolences to www.duhonfuneralhome.com
