Duson - Funeral services will be held at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Friday, May 6, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. for Hilda Champagne Guidry, 77 who died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Magnolia Estates Nursing Home in Lafayette, LA.

Interment will be in the St. Theresa Cemetery, Duson, LA.

Surviving are husband, Pergie Guidry of Duson, two daughters, Caroline Stroud of Duson, Jackie Guidry of Rayne, two brothers, Tommy Champagne of Duson, Aaron Champagne of Duson, two grandchildren, Shannon Higginbotham of Lafayette, Shase Smith of Rayne, two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Judice, Tyler Gaudet.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Chasitie Rae Perrodin, parents, Aurelie Champagne and Ezola Doucet Champagne, one sister, Hazel Champagne, one brother, Roland Campagne.

She was born Tuesday, October 21, 1933 in Duson, LA, daughter of the late Aurelie Champagne and the late Ezola Doucet Champagne.

A rosary will be recited Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home

Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Friday, May 6, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m..
