Funeral services were held at National Cremation and Burial Society in North Fort Myers, Florida, on April 27, 2011, for Holland Morgan, beloved son, husband, brother, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at his North Fort Myers home.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Barbara LeBlanc Morgan; daughter, Denise and husband, Chris Bannon; son, Scott Morgan and companion Sue of North Fort Myers; brothers, Leonard and wife, Barbara Morgan, Lloyd, Jr. and wife, Sheila Morgan; sister, Helen Quebodeaux and husband, James, of Rayne; sisters, Connie and husband, Pat Newbound, of Scott, Rebecca and huysband, Mickey Fontenot, of Alvin, Texas; and brother-in-law, Glen LeBlanc of Rayne.

Hollan was a father of three, grandfather of six, and great-grandfather of eight.

He served in the Army for 3½ years and in the Korean War for 1½ years.

He was born July 13, 1938, in Lafayette Parish, son of the late Lloyd Morgan, Sr. and the late Edna Guidry Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his son, Miles Morgan; his parents, Loyd and Edna Morgan, Sr.; grandparents, Michell Guidry and Adelicia Leger Guidry, Afred Morgan and Theoza Richard Morgan; and brother-in-law, Robert LeBlanc.
