Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at 2 p.m. in Abundant Life Assembly of God, with Pastor Melvin Finley officiating, for Ida Mouton Carmouche Jones, 95, who died at 4:50 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2012, at American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Her body was donated to medical science.

She is survived by a daughter, Marie Shirley Carmouche McClelland of Rayne; two sisters, Rosa Mae Senegal of Lake Charles and Corrine Batiste of Hawthorne, CA.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezekiel Mouton and Carrie Lee Smith; husbands, Robert Caffery Carmouche, Sr. and William Jones; a son, Robert Caffery Carmouche, Jr.; brothers, Wesley “Bud” Mouton, Amos “T-Pick” Mouton, Ezekiel “E.L.” Mouton, Jr., and Roy Mouton; and a sister, Thelma Mouton Carter.
