Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a rash of burglaries.

The Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a rash of residential burglaries which occurred in the Northeast portion of Acadia Parish near the Branch and Mire area.

On Sept. 28, seven homes were burglarized during the daytime hours as the homeowners were at work.

During these burglaries, entry was made by force by kicking in the door. Once inside, the suspect(s) took various guns, electronics, jewelry, etc.. It is believed that the same suspect(s) are involved in similar burglaries in Lafayette, St. Landry and St. Martin Parishes.
