LAFAYETTE – Here’s ‘the Situation’ - the producers and casting agents of the Jersey Shore have Cajun Country in mind for a new show, one similar to its MTV version of tanning, partying, fighting, grooming, loving and shopping.

If that sounds like your lifestlye, then, ‘poof’ auditions are set for August in Broussard and Lafayette.

The show will be called Party Down South and could rival Swamp People in its miscast stereotyping of Louisiana residents.

Anyhow, a large turnout is expected of young people who think they are perfect southern versions of Julie, J-Wow, Snookie, Sweetheart, Mike, DJ Ronnie D, Ronnie and Vinnie.
