Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Crowley for John D. Bellard, Sr., 70, who passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at 7:30 PM at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.  Fr. Jared Suire will be officiating the services.

Survivors include his wife, of fifty years Estelle I. Bellard of Crowley; one son, John “Boobie” D. and wife, Mechelle  Bellard, Jr. of Morse; one daughter, Charlotte Marie  Bellard of Crowley  and her fiancé Terry Romero of Duson; four grandchildren, Joshua Lafosse, Krystal LeBlanc, Sasha LeBlanc and Chelsey  Melancon; two step grandsons, Jessie and Matthew Stutes; four great grandchildren, Aidyn and Acyten Regan, Kyia LeBlanc and Kaylah Lafosse; one sister, Rita Pafford of Dayton, TX; four brothers, Paul Bellard of Eunice, Nathan Bellard of Kaplan, Bobbie Bellard of Lafayette, and Frank Bellard, Jr. of Franklin.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Renise and Anna Bellard; his step mom, Ruth Bellard; one brother, Brennon Bellard; infant sister.

Visitation will be Friday, 11:00 AM till 10:00 PM then 8:00 AM till time of services on Saturday.  A Rosary will be recited Friday, at 6:30 in the evening in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Crowley.  Please send personal condolences to www.duhonfuneralhome.com
