Mr. Robison was a native of Crowley and a long time resident of Arkansas. He was a Veteran of World War II and a Bronze Star recipient. He served in the Pacific and during the Occupation of Japan. He farmed rice north of Crowley on the family farm then left to pursue other avenues which included a long and storied career in the oil industry in southern Louisiana. In 1971 he moved his family to a farm north of Dover, AR and owned and operated a chicken and cattle farm, after which he was a rural mail carrier for the Dover Post Office and retired with more than 30 years service.
He is survived by his sister, Flossie R Rayburn of Libuse, La.; four sons, John “David” & Paula Palmer Robison of Pensacola, Fla., Joel and Bonnie Robison of Millington, Tenn., Jonathan Robison of Dover, Ark. and Jerome and Carol Robison of London, Ark.; two daughters, Julie and Michael Nelson of Greenbrier, Ark. and Janis Robison of Dover, Ark.; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David Francisco and Florence McCullough Robison; his wife of 58 years Josie Nugent Robison; and his brother, Carl Bruce Robison.

Cremation arrangements were with Roller McNutt Funeral Home, Conway Ark. and Geesey Ferguson Funeral Home, Crowley, is in charge of memorial and graveside services.
