Graveside services will be held Friday December 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #2 in Rayne for John L. Patin 74, who died Wednesday December 29, 2010 at the Rayne Guest Home.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years Earline B. Patin of Rayne; two daughters Marlene Welch and Debbie Hoffpauir both of Crowley; two step daughters Janice Clark of Lumberton Texas, and Doris Broussard of Tucson Arizona; two sons Steve Sonnier of Abbeville, and Gary Sonnier of Gueydan; eleven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Olide and Marie Alleman Patin; two sons John Patin Jr. and Jerry Sonnier.

Visitation will from 8:00 a.m. Friday until services
