Duson - Funeral services will be held at Gossen Funeral Home Chapel Friday, October 1, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. for John Louis Turner, Sr., 69 who died Thursday, September 30, 2010.

Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.

Surviving are mother Neola Turner of Duson, daughter, Tammy Raby and husband Robert of Duson, daughter, Tonya Wulf and husband Ronnie of Carencro, daughter, Pamela Turner and finance Ryan Trimble of Church Point, son, John Turner, Jr. and wife Sydni of Duson, 5 Grandchildren, brother, Mike Turner and wife Judy of Judice, brother, Harris Turner and wife Laura of Maurice, brother, Joe Turner and finance Prisilla Alleman of Eunice.

He was preceded in death by his father Wilson Turner; three sisters Nancy Guidry, Shirley Hebert and Mary Abshire.

He was born Tuesday, January 28, 1941 in Lafayette, LA, Son of the late Wilson Joseph Turner and Neola Broussard.

Friends will be received 4:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M., Thursday, September 30 and 8:00 A.M. until Services Friday, October 1, 2010. at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA.
