Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 7, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Mire for Joseph Early LeJeune Jr. 66 who died Sunday December 5, 2010 at his residence in Church Point.

Monsignor Russell Harrington pastor of Church of the Assumption in Mire will officiate.

Survivors include his wife Ivry Thibodeaux LeJeune of Church Point; two sons and their wives Mark A. and Hope LeJeune of St. Mary’s Georgia, and Terry and Sonya LeJeune of Church Point; one brother Gilbert LeJeune Church Point; one sister Rachel Elkins of Baton Rouge; and one grandchild Michael DiLeonardo of Church Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Early and Natile Matte LeJeune Sr.; one sister Caroline LeJeune.

Burial will be in the Church of Assumption Cemetery in Mire under the direction of Duhon Funeral home of Church Point.
