Funeral services will be held Tuesday November 9, 2010 in the Chapel of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne for Joseph Larry Hoffpauir, 66 who died Saturday November 6, 2010 at his residence in Rayne.

Survivors include his father Raoul Hoffpauir of Lafayette, and his mother Girdy Menard of Lafayette; one sister Norma H. Chiasson of Scott, two brothers John Dale Hoffpauir, and Kenneth Hoffpauir both of Lafayette; three nieces, and one nephew; two great nieces and four great nephews.

Mr. Hoffpauir was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Minaway and Ida Miller Hoffpauir; maternal grandparents Gilbert and Edmonia Fruge Cormier; his step father Joseph “Black” Menard; step brother Mervin Menard; and his brother in law Horace Lavergne .

Pallbearers will be Trent Joseph Landry, Allen Savoie, Cody Lavergne, Ryan Lavergne, John Lange, and Randall Joseph Hoffpauir.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until services.

Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Scott under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
