Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel for Joseph Milton Bott Sr. 70, who died Sunday September 12, 2010 at the Regional Medical Center of Acadiana in Lafayette.

Fr. Clint Trahan Associate Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate.

Survivors include his long time companion Pat Johnson of Rayne; five daughters Agnes Bowlin of Marietta Ga., Jeanette Savoie of Rayne, Brenda Hebert of Rayne, Rachel McDaniel of Denham Springs, and Heather Harvey of Pineville; three sons Michael Bott of Houston Texas, Joe Bott, Jr. of Rayne, and Allen Ray Bott of Oshkosh WI; twenty four grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren; two sisters Laura Dell Baudin of Jennings, and Edna Alford of Sulphur.

Pallbearers will be Allen Ray Bott, Randolph Savoie, Robert Leslie Dionnie, Steve Broussard, Paul Hebert Jr., and Jason Benoit; honorary pallbearers will be Paul Hebert Sr. Michael Bott, Pete DiBenedetto, and Jacques Hebert.

Mr. Bott was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Agnes Cormier Bott, one daughter Earline Frances Bott, his grandson Donald Lee Bott; his brother Leslie Robert Bott; three sisters Eva Deville, Beatrice Sonnier, and Betty Lou Delmar.

Mr. Bott was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until services.

Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Rayne.
