Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Rayne for Joseph Rosemond, 93 , who passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2:35 PM at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.  Fr. Richard F. Wagner will be officiating the services.

Survivors include several cousins.

Mr. Joseph is preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Rosemond and his parents, Dupre’ and Hilda Rosemond.

Pallbearers for the services will be Belvin Johnson, Jr., Norris Redd Jullian, Sohdy Griffin, Terry Savoy, Nathaniel Savoy and LeeRoy Bellizre. Honorary Pallbearers will be  Belvin Savoy, Milton Handy, Olray Handy, Nathaniel Laughlin, Marvin Handy, Joseph Handy, Jr. and Clafe Brone.

The family would like to thank American Legion Hospital, Rayne Guest  Home and Dr. Duhon for all the special care they gave to Mr. Rosemond.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 8:00 AM till time of Services in the funeral home chapel in Rayne.  Burial will be in the Our Mother of Mercy Church Cemetery in Rayne under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C.  Please send personal condolences to www.duhonfuneralhome.com
