A seven-thirty evening wedding ceremony on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will unite in marriage Jennifer Renee Beslin of Lafayette, formerly of Rayne, and Dr. Charles “Chad” Keith Richard, Jr. of Baton Rouge. A reception will follow at The Crossing at Mervine Kahn, also in Rayne.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mark and Renee Beslin of Rayne. She is the granddaughter of Charles Buller of Lake Charles, the late Margaret Buller, and the Honorable Denald and Claire Beslin of Rayne.

She is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, and The University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine/athletic training. She also holds a doctorate degree in physical therapy from The University of St. Augustine and is currecently employed by Louisiana Healthcare Group at Lafayette Extended Care Hospital.

The prospective groom is the son of Mary Lynne Tarzetti and the late Charles “Keith” Richard. He is the grandson of the late Ken and Irma Tarzetti of New Orleans and the late Erman and Norma Richard of Opelousas. Dr. Richard obtained his bachlor’s degree in biology from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and his M.D. from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He is employed by the Schumacher Group and is practicing as an emergency room physician at Opelousas General Hospital.

The couple plans to reside in Lafayette following their wedding.
