A six-thirty evening wedding ceremony on Friday, June 10, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Evangeline will unite Ashley Thompson and Michael Noe in marriage. A reception will follow at Point aux Loup Springs Ballroom in Iota.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Bobby and Debra Thompson of Rayne. Her grandparents are Leroy and Annie Cahanin of Rayne and the late Bob and Dorothy Thompson. She is a 2001 graduate of Rayne High School, 2008 nursing graduate of LSU-Eunice, and is employed by Jeff Davis Home Health.

The prospective groom is the son of Jerry and Margaret Noe of Iota and Karen Noe of Jennings. His grandparents are the late J.C. Langley and Nettie and Rob Robertson of Westlake, Mary Noe of Evangeline and the late Noland Noe. He is a 1994 graduate of Iota High School and is employed by AT&T.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Lake Arthur.
