Robert McNamee, 65, was charged after an Operation Child Watch investigation led to investigators finding child porn on his computer.
A new release alleged images of sexually abused children were found.
At the time of his arrest, McNamee was employed by the Beauregard Parish School Board.
He faces a fine of up to $10,000 and a sentence of up to 10 years in prison without parole, probation or suspension if convicted.
