Jury selection is scheduled Aug. 3 and 8 for a Eunice woman accused of 36 counts of monetary instrument abuse and fraud.

Lisa Soileau is accused of bilking Coastal Culvert of about $115,000 to pay personal credit card debt while employed by the firm.

She was arrested in July 2010 after a company audit indicated she had used company checks to pay her debt, according to arrest records. At the time of her arrest, records show, she indicated she was employed by the Daily Advertiser in Lafayette.

Soileau’s attorney, Donald Cleveland, has field a motion seeking an order for a bill of particulars and disclosures of evidence favorable to his client.

A hearing before Judge Donald Hebert is scheduled Thursday.
