He had spent several years preparing for the priesthood when his parents became ill and he had to stop to help them. He spent his last Monday working in his mother’s yard before he left for work at Pizza Hut.
Falgout was murdered that March 29th while making a pizza delivery near Youngsville. He was stabbed to death by a still unknown assailant outside his vehicle when he arrived to deliver a pizza at a customer’s home just around 9:30 p.m. at 306 Rue Canard Street.
The customer called 911 when she saw him laying motionless in front of her home.
Those who know Falgout say he would have given a thief anything he had and even while dying, would have prayed for his killer’s soul.
Falgout’s sister, Lindy Soileau says that he would carry a rosary in his pocket while he delivered pizzas and would always tell his customers that God will bless you.
Tim would have turned 51 this year. His sister says that she is haunted by visions of her brother dying alone but she says, “I know he was escorted to heaven by angels.”
Falgout’s employer, Pizza Hut, has issued a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, a six-month issue through October 20th.
“We want to make sure we continue to get information out there to the public on this case,” said Lt. Craig Stansbury, “We’re hoping it stays fresh in people’s minds. We honestly believe there is more information out there.”
During a recent press conference Soileau directly addressed a particular plea to her brother’s murderer. She said, “To the killer, we ask that you stand up and turn yourself in. The punishment you face in this life doesn’t even compare to the punishment you will face from God if you don’t make this right.”
Falgout’s family has been bolstered by prayers, love, and sympathy from family, friends, and others, but they are still hoping for justice for Tim.
