Funeral services will be Friday, May 25, 2012at 2:00 PM  in the Duhon Funeral Home Chapel in Rayne La. for Kye “Pan Cake” Doucet, 17, who passed away in an accident in Duson on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.  Fr. Kendal Faulk will be officiating the services.

Survivors include his father, Rogers Doucet, his dad, Brady Broussard both of Duson; his mother, Melissa Lavergne and his mom, Vickie Comeaux both of Mire; one sister, Carli Doucet of Duson; one godchild, Traylan Doucet of Duson; one step sister, Myra Sonnier of Mire, one step brother, Bryan Comeaux of Mire; his maternal grandparents, Marylane and Oresta Lavergne, Jr. of Mire; his paternal grandparents, Linda and Jerry Doucet, Sr. of Lyons Point; niece and nephew, Brilynn and Zachary Sonnier.

Kye was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Oresta Lavergne, Sr. and Sadie Marie Lavergne; his Paternal great grandparents, Lester and Dorothy Doucet.

Visitation will be Thursday 10:00 AM until time of services on Friday.  A Rosary will be recited Thursday at 6:30 in the evening in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in the Assumption Catholic Church Cemetery in Rayne under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, LLC of Rayne.  Please send personal condolences to the family at www.duhonfuneralhome.com.
