The event will be held at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those searching for jobs will be able to visit the Louisiana Workforce Commission - Business and Career Solutions Center-sponsored E-Application Station. The station will allow job seekers to search and apply for thousands of additional jobs in the region and throughout Louisiana. Danielle Dayries, career consultant, will host three seminars for job seekers during the day as well. At 10 a.m., Dayries will offer How to Ace an Interview; at 11 a.m., Following up after the Job Fair; and at 1 p.m. Résumé Writing.
The LEDA Job Fair is free to those looking for jobs and no pre-registration is required. People are urged to dress professionally and bring copies of their résumés. A list of employers participating can be found at www.lafayette.org/jobfair.
