LSUE held on to a 3-1 lead in the first game, but ACC broke the game open with five runs in the top of the sixth to grab the one-run win.
In the second game, LSUE jumped out to a 3-2 lead but Alvin exploded for six runs in the fourth to rally for the win.
LSUE hosts Galveston in a doubleheader on Saturday. The first game is set for 2 p.m. at the Lady Bengal Field.
