LAFAYETTE – For the 13th consecutive season, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team has earned a bid into the NCAA Regionals and will participate in the Austin Regional hosted by the No. 3 seed, Texas.

The Regional appearance is the 21st in Ragin' Cajuns' history as the Cajuns won the Sun Belt's automatic bid with their 11th Sun Belt Conference Tournament Championship in the last 12 years.

The No. 25 Cajuns (49-9) will face Houston (40-16) in the opening round on Friday, May 21 at 4 p.m.

The Longhorns (45-8) will play Texas State (31-23) in its opening game at 6:30 p.m.

The winner of the Austin Regional will face winner of the Knoxville Regional featuring Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech and Liberty for the right to go to the 2011 Women's College World Series.

Tickets will go fast so fans are encouraged to purchase tickets now.
