Funeral Services will be Monday, January 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne for Leah P. Cormier, 82 who passed away Friday, December 31, 2010 at 2:10 AM at Rayne Guest Home in Rayne.  Fr. Clint Trahan will be officiating the services.

Survivors include one daughter, Linda and husband Aaron Comeaux of Mire; three grandchildren, Chad and wife Nicole Comeaux of Mire, Nicholas Comeaux and fiancé Nancy Arceneaux of Cankton and Chastity Comeaux and fiancé Timmy Guidry of Scott; three great-grandchildren, Natalie Richard, Julia Richard and Chadwick Comeaux; three brothers, Ervin Prejean of Duson, Eugene and Edward Prejean both of Rayne,; three sisters, Hilda Cormier of Texas, Joyce Prejean of Crowley and Marie Touchet of Rayne.

Ms. Leah is preceded in death by her husband, Dumas J. Cormier; one son, Bill Mattie Cormier; her parents, Ophie and Ezola Prejean; two brothers, Carlton and Fernest Prejean; two sisters, Nola Blanchard and Gladys Dronet.

Pallbearers for her service will be Chad and Nicholas Comeaux, Timmy Guidry, Mark and Eugene Prejean and Donald Alleman.

Visitation will be Sunday, 3:00 PM till 10:00 PM then Monday, 8:00 AM till time of Services.  A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 in the evening in the funeral home chapel in Rayne.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church #2 Cemetery in Rayne under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home, L.L.C. of Rayne.  Please send personal condolences to www.duhonfuneralhome.com
