Mr. and Mrs. Tyler LeCompte of Lafayette are announcing the birth of their first child, a daughter, Lillian Kate (Lily) LeCompte, born on Monday, March 12, 2012, at 1:15 a.m. at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.

At birth, she weighed 6 pounds 14 ounces, and measured 19.25 inches in length.

Mrs. LeCompte is the former Courtney Orillion, daughter of Jim and Cindy Orillion of Rayne, Maternal grandparents.

Paternal grandparents are Blaise and Cherie LeCompte of Houma.

Great-grandparents are Flo Stoutes Thibodeaux and the late A.C. Thibodeaux, Sr. of Opelousas, the late Jimmy and Olympe Orillion of Rayne, Otis and Janine LeCompte of Chauvin, and the late Betty Boudreaux of Houma.

Godparents are Brenner LeCompte of New York and Lauren Orillion Romero of Baton Rouge.
