Notre Dame (23-11) topped the list of parish teams listed, earning the No. 2 seed in the Division III playoffs.
The Lady Pios, winners of the 2007 Class AAA state title, will play host to No. 31 seed Berwick at 5 o’clock Monday with the winner advancing to the State Tournament in Kenner next week.
The Lady Pios, fresh off a title at the prestigious ESA Spooktacular Tournament, recently won their 10th straight district title by going 8-0 in league play. In the last 10 seasons, the Lady Pios have not lost a single district game.
E.D. White, last year’s Class AAA state runnersup, earned the top seed and will play host to No. 32 seed, Independence.
Also in Division III, Rayne (19-7) earned the No. 15 seed after placing second in District 3 behind Cecilia. The Lady Wolves will travel to New Orleans to take on No. 18 Ben Franklin Monday at 5 o’clock on.
Iota (7-9) enters as the No. 25 seed and will travel to Lake Charles Monday to take on No. 8 St. Louis at 5 p.m.
Crowley High (7-11) finished last in District 2 but still managed to get in as the No. 28 seed. They will travel to take on No. 5 Lutcher on Monday.
In Division V, Northside Christian earned the No. 7 seed after posting a record of 20-7. They will play travel to Baton Rouge to take on No. 10 seed Hosanna Christian Monday at 6 o’clock.
