Only hours after local media outlets released photos of the missing 16-year-old girl from Duson Lexy Jones was found by St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Deputies unharmed.

Earlier today deputies located 23-year-old Coy Borel and arrested him for theft, 2 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and felony carnal knowledge.

Investigators contribute the resolution of the case subject of an ongoing investigation since late June-to public tips generated following the circulation of media reports on Tuesday evening. St. Martin Parish Deputies assisted the Lafayette Parish Investigators. Borel was located in St Martin Parish and returned to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center to answer to charge. Bond has not yet been set on Borel. A hearing is set for Thursday.
