BEAUMONT, TX. - Marie Foreman Abbey, 69, of Beaumont, passed away January 1, 2011. She was born in Morse on September 12, 1941 to Albay and Anite Thibodeaux.

Marie is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Abbey; sons, Mike Foreman and wife Tammy, Clay Foreman; three stepchildren, Wes Abbey, Cara Mark and husband John, and Clay Abbey; nine grandchildren, Sage Sheets, Jennifer Foreman, Kelli Foreman, Jared Abbey, Hayden Mark, Chloe Mark, Devin Abbey, Dayton Abbey, John Foreman; great grandchild, Alyce Sheets; and two sisters, Dorothy Gaspard and Iris Hanks.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, James Foreman and a sister, Wanda Broussard. Marie was an employee of St. Elizabeths Hospital for 26 years.

Visitation took place Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a rosary service held at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel.
