Funeral services will be held Friday December 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church for Michael J. Sensat, 50 who died Tuesday December 21, 2010 at the East Jefferson Hospital in Metairie.

Fr. Gary Schexnayder Pastor of St. Michael Catholic Church will officiate.

Survivors include his two daughters Magen Sensat of Crowley, and Gianna Sensat of Metairie; one son Scotty M. Sensat of Destrehan; his parents A.J. and Jeanette Stutes of Crowley; four sisters and their husbands Gerry and Bennett Trahan of Kaplan, Elsie and Darrell Thibodeaux of Mire, Sue and Dexter Stafford of Crowley, and Sis Hebert of Morse; three grandchildren.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Joseph Sensat; one sister Elizabeth Hebert; two brothers Darrell and David Stutes; paternal grandparents Laurence and Rufus Sensat, and Edith and Willie Gautreaux.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. by Sister Justina, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until services.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Duhon Funeral Home of Crowley.
