NCS Warriors cruise past Plainview

GLENMORA – The Northside Christian Warriors banged out 15 hits in five innings and cruised past Plainview, 18-3, earlier in the week in the District 7-C opener for both teams.

The victory sends the Warriors to 4-3 overall and 1-0 in league play.

Joseph Trahan logged the victory for the Warriors, striking out five in three scoreless innings of work.

Nick Zaunbrecher led the Warriors at the plate with three hits, including a double and four RBI. Trahan, Jordan Monte and Shea Bertrand each had two hits and two RBI while Ben Morgan and Christian Morgan each had two hits.

Josh Wheeler added a home run and four RBI. Nick Martin had a single and Nick Gotte drove in a run.
