Pete Petitjean (right) and John Rothermel display the Championship Trophy after Team Louisiana defeated Team Texas, 30-23 in the 2011 Annual Bayou Bowl played in Baytown, Texas last weekend. Both Notre Dame 2011 graduates started at their respective positions during the game, Rothermel at linebacker and Petitjean at guard. It was the first victory for Team Louisiana in the last four tries and brought

the all-time Bayou Bowl Series record to five Texas wins and four Louisiana wins.
