Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 10. 2010 at 3:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery for Norris Henry Guidry, 89, who died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010 at 5:05 a.m. at River Oak Retirement Manor in Lafayette.

Survivors include one sister, Mabel Guidry Broussard of Judice; three daughters, Donna Guidry of Crowley, Joan Huesers and her husband Joe of Lafayette, and Sherry Rue and her husband Byron of Crowley; a son, James E. Guidry and his wife Geraldine of Sulphur; six grandchildren, Terry Rue and his wife Keisha, Tina Guidry, Aaron Guidry, Lisa Guidry, Januari Huesers and Marissa Huesers; six great-grandchildren, Shanna, Riley and Katie Thibodeaux; Sullivan and Arden Rue; and Seth Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adraste and Marie Richard Guidry and a brother, James Guidry.

The family requests visiting hours be observed Tuesday, August 10 from 10 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
