The Lady Pios placed fourth in the district with a total of 249 points while the Pios were sixth with 138.
Each team member was permitted to swim in two events. Four Notre Dame swimmers earned All-District honors while three of them made the team in both of their events.
Erin Trahan made the team in the 50-meter free style, breaking the league record with a time of 25.54. She also made the team in the 100 breast stroke.
Also earning All-District honors were Sarah Simar (200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly), Emily Lawson (200 free and 100 free) and Joshua Kilgore (500 free).
The team also placed eight individual swimmers and five relay teams in the Top 24 Championship Meet that was held on Nov. 3.
Individuals included Trahan, Simar, Lawson, Kilgore, Lea Daily, Hans Prevost, Zachary Trahan and Nick Moore.

Both the Pios and the Lady Pios will be in action today when they participate in the State Championship Meet at SPAR Aquatic Center in Sulphur. The prelims are set to begin at 4 p.m. with the finals slated for Thursday beginning at 3 p.m.
