TURKEY CREEK - Funeral services were held for Audrey Mae Hazelton, 70, of Turkey Creek, at the Rush Funeral Home Chapel in Pine Prairie at 10 a.m., Friday, February 6. Burial followed in the Turkey Creek Cemetery.

Rush Funeral Home of Pine Prairie was in charge of arrangements.

TURKEY CREEK - Funeral services were held for Wesley King, 76, of Turkey Creek, at Lake Cove Baptist Church at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 7. Burial followed in the Turkey Creek Cemetery.

Funeral services were held for infant TroyKeja McNaeya Leday, of Ville Platte, at the Owens-Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 7. Burial followed in the Ninth Baptist Church Cemetery.

Owens-Thomas Funeral Home of Ville Platte was in charge of arrangements.

AMY WAGLEY

Funeral services will be held for Ms. Amy Collins Wagley, 93, of Ville Platte at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10 a.m., February 9. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Ms. Wagley died at 1:05 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2009, at Ville Platte Medical Center.

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she is survived by her son, Clifford Darryl Wagley and wife, Sarah, of Opelousas; daughter, Gwendolyn Bordelon and husband, Charlie, of Ville Platte; seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Wagley.

Father Gene Tremie will officiate.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ville Platte Fire Dept. or the Sacred Heart Foundation in Ville Platte.
