Someone stole two guns from an officer's car in the 3300 block of Heritage Road north of Rayne on Sept. 24.
"Stolen were a LLAMA .380 caliber semi-automatic handgun and a Taurus .38 caliber revolver," Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson said.
The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating.
Anyone with information is asked to call 789-TIPS / 789-8477. All callers will remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 cash reward.
"And remember, it's their name we want not yours," Gibson said.
