Interment will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne, LA.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara "Boo" Menard of Rayne, one daughter, Tricia Picard and husband Eddie of Tomball, TX, one son, Teddy Menard and wife Robin of Crowley, eight grandchildren, Sarah Picard, Emily Picard, Mary Kate Picard, Joshua Picard, Christian Picard, Catherine Picard, all of Tomball, TX, Patrick Teddy Menard, III, Jack Edward Menard, all of Crowley, three step sisters, Ollie Harmon of Branch, LA, Sylvia Daigle of Lafayette, LA, Louise Ann Richard of Church Point, LA, one brother, James "Carol" Menard and wife Helen of Rayne, three aunts, Gertrude Witko and husband Ed of Cincinnati, Marie "Dez" Thibodeaux of Fresno, CA, Lillian Edward and husband Crawford of Lafayette.
He was preceded in death by parents, Desire' Joseph Menard and Roberta Savoy Menard.
He was born Friday, September 27, 1946 in Higginbotham, LA, son of the late Desire' Joseph Menard and the late Roberta Savoy Menard.
He worked as a General Manager for Chase Towers in Lafayette for 28 years.
A rosary will be recited Friday, December 17, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA.
Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA. Friday, December 17, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m..
