Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, with Father Kenneth Howard officiating, for Paul Beverly, Sr., 62, who died at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24,2011, at his residence.

Burial will be in Frey Cemetery in Mowata.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., with a Rosary recited at 9 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Lee Beverly of Crowley; one son, Matthew Beverely of Jennings; one daughter, Michelle Kennerson of Crowley; four brothers, Einus Beverly, Jr., of Noma, Texas, Albert Charles Beverly of Los Angeles, Calif., Earl Beverly of Houston, Texas, and Lynn Beverly of Beaumont, Texas; four sisters, Elizabeth B. MNcCartey of Dallas, Texas, Martha McCartey of Karnac, Texas; Clara Beverly of Beaumont, Texas, and Nanette Beverly of Galveston, Texas; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Celestine and Essie Mael Beverly; and one son, Paul Beverly, Jr.; three brothers, L. G. Chavis, Sr., Cornelinus Beverly, and Celestine Beverly, Jr.; and one sister, Essie Mae Beverly Stafford.
