A six-thirty evening wedding ceremony on Friday, July 22, 2011, at Elizabeth Memorial Baptist Church in Branch will unite in marriage Allison Lee Credeur of Mire and Joseph Tyler Saucier of Ville Platte. Following the ceremony, a reception will be held at Union Hall in Rayne.

The bride-elect is the daughter of John and Cindy Credeur of Mire. Her grandparents are Willie Lee Taylor of Branch, the late Nolan Taylor, and the late Elmo and Bertha Credeur of Mire. She is a 2007 graduate of Rayne High School and attained a bachelor’s degree in English education in 2011 from The University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

The prospective groom is the son of Ronda Willis of Ville Platte and the late Joseph E. Saucier, Jr. His grandparents are Barbara Willis of Mamou, the late Walter Willis, and the late Joseph E. and Rose Saucier of Mamou. He is a 2005 graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte and is majoring in Christian Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in New Orleans.
