Glen and Inger Meche of Mire are announcing the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Britte Elizabeth, to Ada, Bradford Ware, son of Edward and Jan Ware of Rayne.

The couple will be married on Friday, May 18, 2012, during a seven o’clock evening wedding ceremony at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, followed by a reception at The Warehouse Restaurant and Evants Center in Rayne.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of John “Piggy” Arceneaux of Rayne, the late Anne Brown, and Leeward and Mary Meche of Mire. She is a 2007 graduate of Rayne High School and is attending Louisiana Technical College majoring in surgical technology.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Jeanne Gossen, the late Robert Gossen, Peggy Gossen, and Pat and Judge Bradford Ware, all of Rayne. He is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish, 2009 graduate of The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and is employed by SMS of Shell at the Carencro location as a safety technician.

Following their wedding, the couple plans to reside in Rayne.
