Quarterbacking for the West - Kenny Hollier is leaving tomorrow to LSU's Tiger Stadium where he will get back in shape to play offensive quarterback for the West All-Stars team of Louisiana High School Coaches Association next Thursday, August 3. Kenny was president of the C Club of Crowley High and the quarterback for the Gents. He is going to USL in the fall on full scholarship where he will major in physical education. Kenny carried the ball 173 times, rushed 686 yards for an average of 3.9 yards per carry. Of the 91 passes attempted he completed 41 and 8 of them were touchdown passes.
