GARDEN CLUB PLANS FLOWER SHOW - During the February meeting of the Rayne Garden Club, schedules for the 2013 Annual Flower Show was distributed to the following members in attendance: seated from left, Jenny Marks, Martha Pierret and Julia Breaux; standing, chairperson Lisa Soileaux, Judy Guidry, Antonia Hoffpauir, Hazel Prevost, Helen Garrett and Sepha Guidry.
Chairperson Lisa Soileaux has announced this year’s theme, “Once Upon A Time, A Fairy Tale In Bloom.”
Two divisions will be judged by state judges, including Division I (horticulture) and Division II (design).
A change in time of viewing for the general public has been planned for 5-7 p.m., which will include a wine and cheese party as compared to the usual afternoon social of fingerfoods and beverages.
Garden Club members taking part in this year’s Flower Show with entries are Lisa Soileaux, Judy Guidry, Antonia Hoffpauir, Josette Habetz, Sepha Guidry, Hazel Prevost, Helen Garrett, Margaret Comeaux, Chris Simpson, Martha Pierret, Julie Anna Ousse, Jenny Marks and Julia Breaux.
