The Wolves were 5-0 for the day scoring wins over North Vermilion, Evangel, Basile and Plaquemine in their pool play, including their win over St. Louis, winner of Pool B. Other Pool B teams were Teurlings, East Ascension, Comeaux and STM.
Undefeated Rayne High wrestlers were Justin Smith at 120 pounds, Billy Marcantel in 182-195 weight class, Trent Duhon at 182 pounds, and Brennan McKnight in the 220-pound division.

In previous action, the Wolves also claimed wins at the Griffin Open in Dutchtown High, Spartan Invitational of East Ascension, and a home match against Basile High.
The Wolves were scheduled to travel to North Vermilion on Dec. 7th, followed by a home match against Comeaux High on Dec. 14th.
