CROWLEY - 76th International Rice Festival Queen Sarah Mouton has been traveling far and wide. On December 1, she journeyed to historic Fort Jackson for the Plaquemines Parish Orange Festival. Visiting queens met first at Becnel’s in Belle Chasse, where they learned about the industry and were able to pick citrus in the groves. At the festival, the queens enjoyed orange peeling, satsuma eating and cumquat stuffing contests.
