Survivors include one son, Jeremy and wife, Leslie Faul of Mire, two daughters, Nikki and husband, Gregory Meche of Mire and Christine and husband, Michael Ebinal of Kileen, TX; his father, L.P. Faul of Mire; two sisters, Geraldine and husband, Robert, Sr. Credeur of Mire and Velma and husband, Bret Begnaud of Carencro; two brothers, Kenneth and wife, Jo Lynn Faul of Vatican and Tommy and wife Tina Faul of Scott; eleven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by one grand-daughter, Chloe’ Breaux; his mother, Theresa S. Faul; two brothers, Russell and Gerald Faul.
Pallbearers for the services will be Jeremy Faul, Kenneth Faul, Tommy Faul, Billy Faul, Keith Faul and Gregory Meche.
Richard was a native of Mire who enjoyed the country life. He was a gifted carpenter by trade who enjoyed his Cajun heritage. Cajun music, horses and spending time with his family was something he enjoyed as his past time.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM then 8:00 AM until time of services. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:00 in the evening in the funeral home chapel in Rayne.
