CROWLEY - Funeral services for Robert James Joseph, 80, who died Monday, August 16, 2010 at American Legion Hospital, will be held Saturday, August 21 at 11 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Viewing will be held Saturday, August 21 from 8 a.m. until the time of service at St. Theresa Catholic Church.

Robert J. Joseph retired as a plant manager after 46 years of dedicated services at Continental Bag Co. in Crowley. Robert spread his gift of love and life to everyone in his presence

He leaves to cherish his loving wife of 64 years, Alma Henry Joseph; as well as the children he nurtured, Brenda (Tyrone) Rogers of Mobile, Ala., Mary Ann Dronet and Mark Dronet of Lake Charles, Walter Anderson, Jerry Anderson, Elbert Johnson and Robley Anderson of Crowley; and a host of beloved grandchildren; as well as four sisters, Dorothy (Donald) Burnette, Jo Ann (Charles) Henry, Calina (Willie) Maynard and Virley (Gerald) Garrick, all of Crowley; of which he had a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rogers Joseph, Sr.; his mother, Louella Minix Joseph; four brothers, Elmo Joseph, Donald Joseph, Calvin Joseph, and Rogers Joseph, Jr.; and one sister, Stella Joseph Sparks.

Wilturner Funeral Home of Crowley is in charge of the arrangements.
