Funeral services were held at Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church in Mire, Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. for Robley Louis Vincent, 79, who died Sunday, March 13, 2011, in Lafayette.

Interment was in the Assumption of the BVM Cemetery, in Mire.

Surviving are one daughter, Jeanette Vincent LeBlanc of Lafayette; one son, Kenneth W. Vincent and wife, Angie, of Duson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Champagne Vincent; parents, Maurice Vincent and Nolie Trahan Vincent; and one brother, Dudley Vincent.

He was born Tuesday, June 2, 1931 in Lafayette, son of the late Maurice Vincent and the late Nolie Trahan Vincent.

A rosary was recited Monday, March 14, 2011, at 7:00 p.m..

Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, Monday, March 14, 201 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Tuesday, March 15, 201 from 8:00 a.m. until service.
