Funeral services were held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Monday, May 16, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. for Sarah Mae Bryson, 91, who died Saturday, May 14, 2011, in Rayne Guest Home.

Interment was in the St. Joseph Cemetery #2, Rayne.

Surviving are son, Mac Bryson, Jr. and wife, Darla, of Rayne; sisters, Jan Lewis and Flessie Thomas; and nieces and nephews, Diane Fabacher, Johnnie Hains, Francis Berry, James Hains, Jr., Clydee Burch, Mary Ringer and Charles Thomas, Jr. .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mac Bryson, Sr.; a son, Hains Bryson; and her parents, Albert Hains and Emily Richarad Hains; brothers, Patrick and his wife, Marie Hains and James and wife, Frankie Hains; and one sister Verde and husband Clyde Andrus.

She was born Saturday, December 27, 1919 in Rayne, daughter of the late Albert Hains and the late Emily Richard.

Friends were received 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Sunday, May 15, and 8:00 a.m. until service Monday, May 16, 2011, at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne.
