Survivors include his mother Rosa Duiro LaValley of Rayne, two sisters Linda Tweedel of Crowley, and Nadine LaPoint of Crowley; four brothers Richard LaValley of Lafayette, Glenn LaValley of Lafayette, Alan LaValley of Tulsa Oklahoma, and Shawn LaValley of Kaplan; his companion Johnnie Ann Landry of St. Martinville.
Scott was preceded in death by his father Robert Gilbert LaValley.
